A Demolition Derby is planned on October 22 with a special set of rules and a lucrative payoff to the winner. The first segment of the Demolition Derby, which pays $200 to win, will be 25 laps in length and will run in the normal direction around the 1/4-mile track.

A $300 top prize will then be on the line in the second segment of the Demolition Derby in which the cars will run 25 laps in the opposite direction around the track. After fifty circuits of racing, the cars can run any direction on the track that they wish until only one car is left running.
