Click to Enlarge! With two series races already in the books during the month of April, the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals presented by Sunoco Race Fuels tour schedule heats back up on April 23-24 with a doubleheader in the states of North Carolina and Tennessee. Round three of the miniseries will take place this Friday night at Ray Cook's Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, North Carolina. The inaugural running of the 'North Carolina State Championship' will be held at the 1/4-mile bullring and a $4,053 winner's check will be up for grabs out of the over $17,000 purse.

The dirt-slinging action will then quickly shift to Mountain View Raceway in Spring City, Tennessee on Saturday evening for the fourth round of the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals Series. The Volunteer State oval will host their first-ever series event and the victor will receive $5,053 for their efforts. The 22-car field will do battle in the feature for a $20,413 total purse with at least $450 earmarked for each starter.

Jonathan Davenport (Tazewell Speedway) and Brandon Overton (I-75 Raceway) have already picked up wins with the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals Series during the 2021 campaign.
