USCS Outlaw Sprint Cars and Late Model Racing Headline
Tri County's Labor Day Speed Xplosion on Monday, September 1st

Filters winged sprint cars invade historic Tri County Racetrack
in Brasstown, North Carolina (near Murphy, NC) for the "Labor
Day Speed Xplosion" on MONDAY (Labor Day) September 1st
@ 6:30 pm.
The event is expected to draw winged sprint car drivers from
at least six states as far away as Arkansas, Ohio and Florida.
The event awards National, Southern and Mid South regional series
points in each division. Past series Champions from each of
the USCS series are entered as well as the region's top drivers.
The 2012 USCS National Champion Tim Crawley from Benton, Arkansas
won the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour main event last August at Tri
County racetrack on June 13th and expected to be among the entries
on Monday's event. Additionally expected to enter is 2013 National
Champion, Derek Hagar from Marion, Arkansas who has 10 USCS
victories so far in 2014. Ten-time USCS National Champion Terry
Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee who leads the USCS National point
standings with his team-mate, 21 year-old female sprint car
star Morgan Turpen from Cordova, Tennessee, is in the runner-up
spot currently in the standings. Gray has won several past USCS
events at Dixie.
In addition to the USCS winged sprint cars, the action-packed
Tri County Racetrack racing card features the Southeastern Late
Models Sportsman Series plus all regular late model and stock
car divisions including the popular Super Late Models with a
full racing program in each.
Ticket prices are as follows: Adult Grandstand $18, youth 11-16
years $10 and children 10 and under FREE. For information or
